The Best Leather Slings In The World!

Hi, my name is Patrick, and I've been making leather slings since 1993. Since setting up my workshop in Madison, WI (Oct 2007) I have made and shipped almost 1200 slings. I will have to really dig into old boxes of paperwork to add up the slings I made between 2000 and 2007, I'm sure there were a few hundred. Some day I'd like to get a map of the world with a pin stuck in everywhere I've shipped slings to, from Helsinki to Manilla and Melbourne, from Fairbanks to Oahu, all of Canada and every US state from coast to coast, and probably every country in Europe if you include slings that go via my retailers like Fort Troff. There are so many of my slings out there I am pretty sure that at any time of any day, someone somewhere is getting their ass plowed in one of my slings. That's a special feeling...

I use top-grade domestic latigo which doesn't require any special attention like re-conditioning for years and years. Sling clean-up is as simple as a soapy wet rag. Try not to use harsh chemical cleaners on the latigo; this will strip off the protective waxy surface. The D-rings are nickel-plated steel (once in a while I use stainless steel), and welded so they will never split.  You'll see more rivets on my slings than anyone else! I make larger bear slings for big & tall guys, and am always eager to try a new design. I'm pretty sure my slings will outlast us all  - a sling makes a nice heirloom hand-me-down! I have even been known to add Kevlar into my slings, to increase strength to an amazing 50,000 psi. This will stand up to even the hardest players, even though its probably overkill anyway.

I think my canvas slings and leather slings are the very best around, at the most competitive prices you will find. I try to keep my order turn-around time to next day or 2nd day, if I have materials handy that is. The other half of the time I have to wait a few days for new hides to be delivered, but even my most custom slings ship out as quickly as possible. Its my job!
